Our Mission

To promote the safe, sane use of firearms in

competitive shooting sports

To compete and act in a sportsmanlike manner at all times

To educate and encourage others in the safe

proper use of firearmes

To suport our second amendment right to

keep and bear arms.

We are a USPSA Competitive Pistol Club.  Our club follows

all safety rules as outlined by USPSA.  We welcome all

newcomers to our sport.  It is a great way to be more active,

meet great new friends, and enjoy the shooting sports in a

safe, fun, family atmosphere.  Come join us.  We look forward

to meeting you.  You do not have to be a member of our

club or of the USPSA to shoot with us.

As a club we also believe in Community involvement.  As a club we have chosen to raise money for scholarships for autistic children to allow them to attend camp.  Camp Lakey Gap in Black Mountain, North Carolina is such a camp.  During the summer each week is dedicated to a different age group of Autistic kids.  Camp Lakey Gap offers a 1:1 or 1:2 Counselor to camper(s) ratio.  Camp Lakey Gap is equipped to work with all levels of Autism.  Contact Penny Gilliam for more information concerning Camp Lakey Gap.

As a club we also support the NRA through promoting and encouraging our youth in shooting sports through education and encouragement.  The NRA Foundation is the 501(c)(3) arm of the National Rifle Association.  Through our local banquets, we raise monies that is provided to local schools for shooting teams (ROTC, FFA, FHA, Hunter Safety teams and Boy Scout shooting programs) to assist in purchasing shooting supplies.  Several of our club members are also committee members on our local committees.
